KARAZ / About
The company behind itBorn where the smallest margins decide who survives.
KARAZ comes out of more than a decade of building data-driven supply-chain systems — since 2014, in economies where data was not a strategy but the only competitive advantage available. What we learned moving energy now moves produce.
Human + Machine, and in that order.
It is the group's oldest principle and the reason KARAZ starts with the grower rather than the sensor. A model with perfect data and no operator knowledge produces confident nonsense; an operator with forty years of knowledge and no measurement repeats the last decade into a climate that no longer matches it. Neither works alone. The interesting engineering is in the join.
Grower knowledge is a first-class input, weighted and recorded — not a footnote appended to a model output. It is the only feed that carries causation.
If the output of a system is a chart somebody has to interpret, the work has been handed back to the customer. The output is a dated decision, or silence.
The goal of a deployment is an operation that knows its own numbers well enough to argue with us. Knowledge transfer is the deliverable; the software is how it travels.
Huginn is thought — he flies out and collects the world. Muninn is memory — he mines what was gathered and says what it means. Data collection and data mining, named a thousand years before either had a name
Same engine, three supply chains.
Huggin Munin runs three verticals against one conviction: that the decisive margin in any supply chain sits in the last window where a human can still change the outcome. KARAZ is that idea applied to crops you plant once and live with for thirty years.
| Vertical | Sector | The decision it sharpens |
|---|---|---|
| Fleetserve | Energy | Fuel distribution and fleet deployment — more work moved with less carbon burned doing it. |
| Agricom · KARAZ | Agriculture | Pre-harvest production decisions in orchards and vineyards, linked to the market window that prices them. |
| EasyOrder | FMCG | Inventory and replenishment — less overstock without paying for it in stock-outs. |
Small, and answerable by name.
KARAZ is built by a small core team working directly with the agronomists and growers who run the sites. There is no account layer between you and the people who write the models — which is an advantage while we are this size, and something we intend to keep for as long as it is honest to promise it.
Product and coordination
Platform direction, partner and programme coordination, and the commercial logic that decides which decisions are worth automating at all.
Modelling and data engineering
Phenology and quality models, the sensing-to-decision pipeline, and the validation discipline described on the evidence page.
Agronomy and operations
Fertigation and intervention programmes designed with the agronomists who run the sites, and the field logging that keeps the record honest.
Named team profiles, CVs and references are provided in commercial and evaluation processes on request.
Four conversations, one system.
A single problem block, one season, and a clear answer on whether the decisions change. We would rather lose a deal on that call than in month four.
Client-local deployment where members' data cannot leave the premises, and aggregate arrival forecasting for planning at the packhouse rather than the plot.
Full validation method, attribution stated in full, open schemas, and results delivered with their boundaries attached.
One engine, branch-specific logic, 60–70% infrastructure reuse per new crop — and a loop between agronomic decision and market result that monitoring platforms do not close.
Who you would actually be contracting with.
KARAZ is a product of Huggin Munin Limited, an Irish company. Agricom is its agriculture vertical. Contracts, data processing agreements and programme participation sit with the Irish entity.
